Privacy Policy

ChinaPass.ai does not require an account or payment to read its guides. Planning inputs run in the browser unless a feature clearly states otherwise. Analytics events do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, or free-text Planner input.

Waitlist information

When you join the waitlist, ChinaPass collects your email address and your required agreement to receive waitlist and product updates. You may optionally share a broad travel timeframe, main interest, and planned destination. We may also store limited attribution data such as the source page, source component, campaign labels, and referring hostname. We do not request your name, phone number, passport details, exact travel dates, or a free-text itinerary.

Waitlist records are stored using Cloudflare infrastructure, including a D1 database when the production service is configured. Cloudflare and security services may process technical request data to deliver the form and reduce abuse. If an email delivery provider is enabled later, it may process your email address solely to deliver the requested updates; the provider will be identified here before production email is enabled.

We retain waitlist data only for as long as needed to manage product updates and honor deletion or opt-out requests. You may ask us to correct or delete your waitlist record, or stop future updates, using the contact address below. There is not currently an automated unsubscribe or data-management portal.

Hosting and security

Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral data, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. ChinaPass does not store IP addresses or full user-agent strings in the waitlist database.

Orders and digital delivery

Creem processes digital-product payment details as Merchant of Record. ChinaPass may receive and store the provider order and customer identifiers, normalized delivery email, product and version, amount and currency, payment and delivery status, source page, and timestamps. ChinaPass does not receive or store full card numbers or CVC codes.

Cloudflare infrastructure stores the order record and privately hosted product file. A short-lived signed link is created only for an eligible paid order. If transactional email is enabled after sender verification, the named email provider may process the purchaser email and delivery message.

Order and transaction records are retained as reasonably required for delivery recovery, accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, legal obligations, and support. Retention depends on the record and applicable requirements; it is not extended merely for marketing.

Optional Google Analytics

When analytics is enabled for the site and you accept it, ChinaPass.ai uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, navigation, and key actions such as Planner and waitlist use. Google may process technical data including IP-derived location, device and browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and referral data. GA4 may use cookies or similar browser storage. Waitlist analytics events never include your email address.

Analytics consent is separate from waitlist consent. Analytics is disabled until you choose “Accept analytics,” and rejecting it does not prevent a waitlist submission. You can change the analytics choice through the footer. The waitlist checkbox instead authorizes ChinaPass to store your email and send the updates described on the form.

Google AdSense connection and future advertising

ChinaPass.ai is connected to Google AdSense for account and site verification, but it does not currently display Google ads or include ad units. The AdSense connection script may contact Google and process technical request information such as IP address, browser or device information, the requested page, timestamps, and referral data. If ads are enabled later, Google and other disclosed advertising partners may also use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to deliver ads, limit frequency, measure delivery and performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and—only where the required consent has been obtained—personalize advertising.

Where consent is required, advertising storage or personalized advertising that requires consent will not be enabled before a valid choice. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be shown Google's published, certified consent management platform, which integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The current Analytics preferences banner is separate and is not that certified advertising CMP; accepting Analytics does not grant advertising consent.

If advertising is introduced, you will be able to review or withdraw the available choices through the site's privacy settings or consent controls. You can also review how Google uses information for advertising, Google's Privacy Policy, and Google's ad settings. The exact partners and controls will be updated here before ads are enabled.
